(d) : Eukaryotic transcription occurs inside nucleus. The $m$ RNA is processed from the primary RNA transcript, a process called maturation. Initially at the $5^{\prime}$ end, a cap (consisting of 7-methyl guanosine or 7 mG ) and a tail of poly A contains adenine residue (200-300) at the $3^{\prime}$ end are added to hnRNA in a template independent manner. The primary $m$ RNAs are made up of two types of segments; non-coding introns and the coding exons. The introns are removed by a process called RNA splicing. The enzyme ligase joins two adjacent exons to produce mature $m \mathrm{RNA}$.
