(b, c) : As ' $Q$ ' undergoes Cannizzaro reaction, thus, it is an aldehyde which does not contain $\alpha$-hydrogen. Also, it does not give haloform reaction. Thus, it does not have $\mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{CO}$ - group.\ As ' $S$ ' undergoes haloform reaction but not Cannizzaro reaction, thus ' $S$ ' has $\mathrm{CH}_{3} \mathrm{CO}$ - group.\ The molecular formula of ' $Q$ ' and ' $S$ ' is $\mathrm{C}_{8} \mathrm{H}_{8} \mathrm{O}$. Thus, both are aromatic.\
